Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in welding processes.
• Collaborate with welding teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality processes.
• Perform routine audits of welding procedures and equipment to maintain quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Provide training and guidance to welding personnel on quality standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to welding quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding or quality control preferred.
• Proven experience in quality control within a welding environment.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and materials.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as AWS, ASME, or ISO.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary info:
